Allen P Payne was born in Salisbury, MD and has lived on the Eastern Shore his whole life. Allen graduated from Pocomoke High School in ’10, and Salisbury University ’14 with a Bachelors in Science Geography. The Eastern Shore of Delmarva has always been Allen’s Home, and this makes him well suited to help those of all ages find their slice of Delmarva Life. His Professional sales career started at Allstate and then moved to Retail Banking. His Mother was always in the Mortgage Lending field, and this career choice quickly led him to follow in her footsteps. When he found a company that truly made him feel like a part of a family, and would give him the opportunity to learn, he couldn’t pass it up.

As a first time home buyer, I was very nervous because I didn’t really know much about the process or even where to start. I searched for local loan officers on Google and found Allen. He took the time to explain the process, made sure I had the documentation ready from the get go and had them reviewed by the underwriter even before we started house hunting to help us prepare a stronger offer, checked on me on a regular basis, always made himself available for any questions, made sure I was comfortable with the commitment I was getting into, and gave a lot of helpful suggestions based on his experience in the industry. What’s more, he took the time to monitor the rates for me which I really appreciate. I thought the home buying process would be difficult, but the only difficult part was finding the house. Allen and his team were very helpful and knowledgeable. They had me all set and ready to sign very quickly. The only hold up in closing was the sellers moving out!
